Bordeaux Travel Guide
Since it was given a bit of a clean up at the end of the last millennium Bordeaux has become an extremely tourist friendly town to wonder around. A high-tech transport system, a spot of architectural rejuvenation and a smattering of pedestrianised walkways has turned the city from a bit of a shambles into a must visit port-side destination. Bordeaux has long been famous for its wines and many of the grand chateaus are worth a visit both for the architecture and for what they have in their cellars. The quays of the Garonne River have also been rejuvenated and are the perfect place to enjoy some of the finest food and the finest wine in the world.
