Strasbourg overview

Strasbourg Travel Guide
Located on the French - German border is the city of Strasbourg, which offers those who pass through it a unique combination of two cultures. Given its proximity to Germany, the city features a large bilingual population who can speak both German and French. Strasbourg is a great place to go to explore a part of France which is not usually on the travel plans of most holidaymakers, and experience what life is like in a large French city. The city features a mix of German and French architecture, and probably the most prominent being the Cathedrale Notre Dame, which was built in 1439 and took almost 300 years to build. The city offers a range of dining and accommodation options, catering mostly for the budget traveller. As Strasbourg is relatively poor city for French standards, travellers are urged to be careful of pick-pockets.
