Toulouse overview

Toulouse Travel Guide
Located a stones throw from the Pyrenees, Toulouse is a large industrial city in the south-west of France, and renowned as being the headquarters of aircraft manufacturer Airbus. Like most French cities, Toulouse is best travelled around on foot, allowing for travellers to explore all the small side streets and laneways which would ordinarily be missed in the back of a car. The city is also home to the usual variety of churches and museums, which provide a detailed history of the region. Accommodation in Toulouse caters for those who are travelling on a shoestring to those with money to splurge, while dining options are plentiful. Duck is the regional delicacy here, so if you don’t like duck, you will be rather stuck!
